We are working on behalf of a leading global business aviation organisation who offer a diverse range of services including aircraft management for private and commercial registered aircraft, aircraft charter, aircraft maintenance, aircraft completions management and fixed base operations.

We are recruiting for a Reliability & Airworthiness Supervisor to join the team in Cambridge.

The main objective of this role is to provide technical support to maintain the continued airworthiness of the aircraft in accordance with various national authorities' requirements as well as requiring a continuous surveillance of the reliability or health monitoring of the aircraft.

In addition, one of the goals is the supervision of the airworthiness and reliability team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and train airworthiness and reliability engineers.
• Organise and distribute the work within the engineering department in accordance with requirements.
• Research and development of procedures.
• Review and collate aircraft defect data.
• Maintenance Programme monitoring, production and effectivity analysis.
• Develop and maintain the reliability data for our various fleets.
• Liaise with OEMs, vendors, maintenance providers and national authorities and understand and interpret the data they provide.
• Produce and present reliability reports at regular intervals.
• Produce and present ECTM reports based on interpreted data.
• Present aircraft for C of A Issue and Renewal.
• Understand the national requirements for each National Airworthiness Authority our aircraft are registered with.
• Analyse tear down reports.
• Provide support with safety reports, root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
• Ensure defects and non-routine occurrences are allocated to the correct ATA Chapter.
• Monitor and identify trends.
• Monitor and analyse airworthiness data.
• Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins review. Ensuring all compliance requirements
• are set correctly in the maintenance tracking system (CAMP/CMP).
• Supporting the airworthiness postholders as required with airworthiness and reliability matters.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

• AD/SB Review
• Reliability Programmes.
• Aircraft Maintenance Programmes.
• Approval and review process for the NAA's.
• Good knowledge of EASA Part M
• Educated to Degree level in a relevant field or experience within a Technical Services department.
• 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Excellent attention to detail, Project Planning, Ability to multi-task, Excellent written and spoken English.
• Preparation and Presentation of reports.
