Travelodge plans to grow its estate to 70,000 rooms across 1,000 hotels by 2020 and has recently had planning permission granted to increase its current Covent Garden hotel in London by 249 rooms making it the chains largest hotel. The expansion plans are creating 35 new jobs plus up to 100 construction jobs.
