40+ Limited is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee.
Launched in May 2002 the company currently has offices in Liverpool City Centre. 40+ Limited was established following extensive market research and analysis which highlighted the issue of age discrimination in the employment market.
Working with local businesses, Government agencies and regeneration organisations, 40+ Limited has developed a range of support services designed to assist people aged 40 and over to fulfill their employment potential.
40+Limited recognises the potential of their 40+ client group and the benefits companies can realise as a result of employing these more experienced, skilled and customer focused people.
40+ Limited is an active member of the Third Age Employment Network.
Simon Chadwick - General Manager : Simon has been in job creation for over 12 years. Working for several training providers and Merseyside TEC, he has established contacts with some 15,000 Merseyside employers, and assisted in setting up many of the major Call Centers now based on Merseyside. He has always been passionate about helping unemployed mature people back into work.Lyndsay Styles: Lyndsay has a teaching background delivering basic skills to young adults. Prior to joining 40+ she spent four years working with unemployed people, assisting adults aged 16 to 50+ retrain and return back into full time employment. Lyndsay feels that people over the age of 40 have a wealth of life experience and skills and need to realise their true potential.
Ian Lomas B Sc. (Econ) Hons - Finance Director : Ian has been active in regeneration and wider economic development activity, particularly in the development and implementation of EU Structural Funded projects since 1992.
Working with the 14 Training & Enterprise Councils across the Northwest, and Merseyside TEC and Business Link Merseyside most recently. His extensive knowledge of education, training and employment issues have added value to the activities of 40+ Limited.
Chris Lewis B. A. Hons.- Chairman : Chris spent 12 years working in the Voluntary and Public sectors developing local regeneration solutions. Since leaving he has established and manages a number of successful private sector companies working in partnership with local communities across the region.
Les Chadwick - Technical Director : Les has extensive experience in private sector business. He spent over 30 years with a major Photographic company managing a number of sites in the UK. When he left, he became Managing Director of a Photo Processing operation based on Merseyside with a large retail operation spread across the north of England. He now spends his time helping to promote the services of 40+ Limited.
