Impact Recruitment Limited

Impact Recruitment was formed in July 2002 to focus purely on the industrial sector in the Northamptonshire towns of Wellingborough and Northampton, but has expanded into the commercial market place in December 2004. The three directors had previously worked for a national recruitment agency for 25 years collectively, but felt the time was right to branch out on their own but without the constraints that exist whilst working for a large organisation. Since July 2002, the team has grown to ten and can now boast over 50 years worth of recruitment experience, making them one of the most experienced teams in the county.

Since the company formation in July 2002, Impact have been credited with the following three awards.

In November 2003, Impact were Highly Commended in the Entrepreneurial Business of the Year sector of the Northamptonshire Business for Excellence Awards. The event was organised by Northamptonshire Newspapers Ltd in association with Northamptonshire Chamber. The Awards were judged by a panel of business managers from throughout the country and were presented by former royal correspondent Jenny Bond.

Judges Comments: “Impact Recruitment began trading over a year ago and in that time the determination of its three Partners has seen the business grow rapidly into a professional company that delivers exceptionally high quality services”.

In April 2004, Impact celebrated winning the “Best Newcomer” award in the annual national awards organised by the leading PR recruitment magazine “The Recruiter”. The Recruiter Awards for Excellence is the largest event in the recruitment calendar. The presentation was made to the company’s three directors by TV personality Clive Anderson at a specially organised lunch and ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London.

The awards were judged by a panel of HR Directors and Managers from international blue chip organisations. The judges comments: “We were impressed with Impact’s growth in turnover and profitability since their establishment in July 2002, this being achieved by concentrating on their sales and marketing strategy and delivering service levels way beyond their client expectations. We also liked Impact’s “on site check-ins”, meeting of all new staff at client sites to manage induction and their service review programme to ensure continuous monitoring and improving of standards. Clear examples of going the extra mile”.

In November 2004 Impact matched their previous achievement at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards when they were highly commended in Entrepreneurial Business of the Year.

The awards were again judged by a panel of business managers from throughout the county and were presented by TV impressionist Jon Culshaw. "Impact Recruitment continues to record strong growth and profitability from delivering a level of service to customers well in excess of competitors. The very focused management team work closely, to keep the business moving forward", was the summarising speech from the judges.
